This project has come about following a series of initiatives over the last 6 years proposing a Masterplan development as a joint venture partnership with Cosmopolitan Housing to develop a total of 147 dwellings of mixed size, form and tenure.
With Cosmopolitan Housing unable to proceed with this project, Carpenter Investments are proposing to continue the project following the ideals of the original Masterplan.
The first and second phases of the New Brunswick project has been supported under the Homes and Communities Agency’s Get Britain Building initiative and this final third Phase will also be delivered using the HCA’s Build to Rent Fund.
Carpenter Investments are one of only 45 successful companies nationally to secure HCA Build to Rent Fund for the development of this Private Rented Sector scheme which will form part of a £22M long term investment in the Riverside Ward of Liverpool.
The scheme maintains a frontage to Grafton Street and focuses development to the centre of the site to create an open landscaped link space between the first and second phase (completed March 2016) and this new phase.
The scheme has been designed to be sensitive to the surrounding area using a modern domestic vernacular to create a humane response to the requirement for medium density development. The first Phase of the development is occupied and marketing for the second phase is proving very successful with lots of interest.
